The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Momma shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Momma is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Even doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Momma.
Even is defending against the submission attempts here by Momma.
Even is trying to maintain the position but Momma is very close to passing his half guard.
Momma is working for a submission of some sort.
Momma wants to free his trapped foot but Even is holding on for dear life with his legs.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Even can do anything to dispel that myth.

Momma is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Even is just riding it out for now. Momma eventually gives up the hold.

Nice sprawl there from Momma as Even shoots in.

and Momma counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Even really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Momma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mommais looking to pass into half guard but Even pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Even is in guard.
Even trying to control the position from guard on top but Momma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Even drops back looking for a leg! Momma is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Momma manages to kick Even off! Even jumps back into Momma's guard.
Momma is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Even rolls with it to try and escape but Momma cranks on the arm and Even is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
