Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Hawks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawks comes to the cage accompanied by over the top. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hawks steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gray.
Gray swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Gray goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hawks throws a head kick that misses.
Gray throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hawks waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gray.
Hawks misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gray checks a low kick from Hawks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hawks throws a sloppy head kick and Gray moves out of range easily.

Hawks feints and then cracks Gray's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gray down.
Hawks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gray.
Hawks takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hawks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gray moves away.

Gray looks to score with a jab to the body but Hawks is just out of range.

Oh Hawks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gray lands a brutal uppercut that launches Hawks off his feet! Hawks tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
