Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karias York (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Jackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

York has one foot on Jackson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

York jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jackson walks away with a smile on his face. York gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

York ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. York no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
York wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling him.
Jackson wants to control from the top but York keeps moving.
Jackson prevents York from getting back to his feet.

York has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jackson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
York just misses with a punch to the body.

York has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
York is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

York shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jackson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

York decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jackson to his feet.
York throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jackson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
York swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
York works the jab nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
York cracks Jackson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.

York is squirming around, avoiding Jackson's attempts to control the action.

A close second round but Karias York will probably get the nod - 10:9.

York drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jackson manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now York has Jackson in his guard.

York is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lance Jackson.
I think York has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
