The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terry fails with the takedown.
A slapping leg kick lands for Terry.
Terry keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ovrut.
Decent striking displayed by Ovrut there.
Terry closes the distance and clinches up with Ovrut, looking for a takedown. Terry pushes Ovrut against the cage but Ovrut circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A left lands for Ovrut.
Terry shoots in for a takedown but Ovrut shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Terry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
