Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between john ketchup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy NoMates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

NoMates shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
NoMates seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but ketchup does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
NoMates uses his free foot to push down on ketchup's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for ketchup.
ketchup really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
NoMates avoids the attempt from ketchup to control.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, NoMates cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

ketchup got a little sloppy there for a moment and NoMates has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, ketchup has managed to get both his arms back between NoMates's legs - danger averted.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to john ketchup.
