Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between tom watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and fred dirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). fred dirk is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
watson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before dirk can pounce on him.
watson tries to clinch but dirk is having none of it.

watson rushes dirk and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
watson is trying to force a seperation but dirk has the dominant position.
watson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as dirk walks away with a smile on his face. watson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

dirk drives through and clinches with watson against the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from dirk.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! watson crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from dirk - the referee stops the clock and watson gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says dirk. watson manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well dirk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
