Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladislav Gorki!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eisen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.


It looks like Vladislav Gorki has been cut.
Eisen keeps the fight on the outside.
Eisen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Eisen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Eisen tries to keep at a distance but Gorki has taken the fight into the clinch.

and Gorki decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Eisen's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gorki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Eisen can't keep his opponent in guard - Gorki advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Eisen is looking for a sweep. Gorki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Gorki decides to stand up, so the ref orders Eisen to his feet.
Eisen wants to clinch but Gorki slips to the side

and Gorki moves into the clinch.
Eisen fails to pull guard.

Eisen is trying to control the position but Gorki postures up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eisen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gorki fails with the takedown.

A looping hook to the body misses from Eisen. Gorki does a little dance to reset his feet.

Eisen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A solid leg kick lands there for Eisen.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Eisen jabs Gorki right on the nose. Gorki blinks but takes it well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Eisen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


That has opened up Vladislav Gorki's cut even more.
Eisen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Eisen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eisen misses with a head kick.
Eisen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Gorki moves in looking to clinch but Eisen pushes him off.

and Gorki counters with a single leg into guard. Eisen didn't expect that.
Gorki forces his way into half guard.
Gorki throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Gorki is trying for a kimura here. Eisen looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gorki wins by kimura!
