Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, KEITH JOYCE!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andreas Schankelies!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schankelies shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts JOYCE as he jumps to the side.
JOYCE looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
No luck for Schankelies with that takedown attempt.
Schankelies tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but JOYCE swivels and escapes.
KEITH JOYCE has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Schankelies.
Horrible takedown by Schankelies or perhaps it was just good defense by JOYCE which made him look bad.
Schankelies tries to close the distance and clinch up but JOYCE swats him away and circles back towards the center.

KEITH JOYCE seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schankelies looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? JOYCE is fending him off so far but Schankelies persists. Nope, JOYCE circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
JOYCE lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by JOYCE.
JOYCE will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Schankelies goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Schankelies shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says JOYCE as he avoids it easily.

so Schankelies counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Schankelies stops JOYCE from standing up.
Schankelies tries to free his leg and advance position but JOYCE is retaining full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Schankelies lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Schankelies changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. JOYCE tries to avoid it but Schankelies manages to keep hold of a leg and drag JOYCE to the ground. JOYCE escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
JOYCE throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Schankelies.
JOYCE tries to bum rush Schankelies with a series of wild strikes but Schankelies uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

JOYCE is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Schankelies hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
