Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Cannonball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauro Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cannonball kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Johnny Cash - God`s Gonna Cut You Down. Gomes has chosen Body Count - Necessary Evil as his entrance music. Mauro Gomes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cannonball darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Still in half guard, Cannonball seems content to control.
Cannonball looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Cannonball with the ground and pound but Gomes uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Cannonball has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cannonball wants to control from the top but Gomes keeps moving.
Cannonball throws a strike but Gomes rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Cannonball wants to hit a switch here but Gomes passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Cannonball there!

Cannonball tries to lock up and control but Gomes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Cannonball is trying desperately to improve position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cannonball tries to lock up and control but Gomes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cannonball is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Cannonball is looking to improve his position but Gomes isn't that keen on the idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Mr Cannonball has been cut.
Cannonball takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Cannonball looks up at the clock. Bad move! Gomes lands a right hand from hell, dropping Cannonball. Gomes pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
