The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poika doesn't manage to clinch there - Mann circles away.
Mann looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Poika keeps the fight on the outside.

and Mann counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mann.

Mann manages to break the clinch.
Poika will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mann shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Poika pinned against the cage. Poika gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Poika has Mann pressed against the cage, preventing Mann from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Mann throws a right and a left that both miss.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Poika is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Poika turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Mann off and cradles Poika's limp body as Mann celebrates with his corner.
