The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thorbrand drives through and clinches with Krup against the cage.
Thorbrand prevents a takedown attempt there.
Krup drops down looking for an ankle pick but Thorbrand pulls his leg out and moves away.
Thorbrand shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Krup as he avoids it easily.
Thorbrand tries to close the distance and clinch up but Krup swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Krup is looking for a kimura but Thorbrand is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Krup to get the leverage.

Krup has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Thorbrand has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
