Abad looks to land a combination. Mendez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Mendez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Abad is fending him off so far but Mendez persists. Nope, Abad circles away and we're back to standing.

Mendez has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Abad! Mendez is out on his feet! Abad rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Mendez is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Mendez is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
