Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roosevelt Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luigi Marzapane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson comes to the cage accompanied by Let it Burn by Ignite. Marzapane has chosen Survivor - Eye of the Tiger as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marzapane on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Jackson. Jackson obviously looking to wear him down.
Marzapane moves out of range as Jackson strikes.
Marzapane is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jackson.
Nice defenses there by Jackson.
Marzapane tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jackson was well out of range. Poor timing from Marzapane.

Luigi Marzapane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Marzapane.
Marzapane throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jackson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Marzapane tried to score with a low kick but Jackson checks it.
Marzapane connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jackson momentarily.

Jackson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jackson tries to bum rush Marzapane with a series of wild strikes but Marzapane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Marzapane takes a shot to the body in his stride.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roosevelt Jackson dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jackson. Marzapane does a little dance to reset his feet.

Marzapane throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Marzapane loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch.
Marzapane takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jackson missing with a left hand there. Marzapane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marzapane does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jackson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jackson closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Marzapane out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
