Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshiro Gomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthias Dolzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Gomi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dolzer scores with a jab to the head.

Gomi closes the distance and clinches up with Dolzer, looking for a takedown. Gomi pushes Dolzer against the cage but Dolzer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gomi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dolzer swivels and escapes.
Gomi shoots for a double leg takedown but Dolzer sprawls well. He's pushed Gomi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gomi misses with a takedown attempt - Dolzer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Dolzer is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Gomi had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Dolzer catches Gomi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Gomi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gomi is defended easily by Dolzer.

Horrible takedown by Gomi or perhaps it was just good defense by Dolzer which made him look bad.
