Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elmo Lupe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodrigues comes to the cage accompanied by Lose Yourself. Elmo Lupe has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lupe just misses with a punch to the body.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lupe as he avoids it easily.
Rodrigues staying out of range there.
Rodrigues really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rodrigues takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Lupe throws a hook but Rodrigues blocks it.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lupe sprawls well. Lupe wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rodrigues gets slowly back to his feet.
Rodrigues uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lupe.
Rodrigues shoots in for a takedown but Lupe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Rodrigues. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lupe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rodrigues manages to avoid it.
Lupe tries to bum rush Rodrigues with a series of wild strikes but Rodrigues uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lupe lands a big right hand that sends Rodrigues crashing to the mat! Lupe stays standing though and waves Rodrigues back to his feet!

Rodrigues is rocked!

It looks like Ricardo Rodrigues has been cut.

Lupe misses with a few strikes there.

Lupe throws a body punch but Rodrigues moves out of range.
Rodrigues ducks under a wild hook from Lupe.
Lupe lands a slapping body shot.
Rodrigues dodges the punch combination from Lupe.
Rodrigues walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lupe dances in with a quick combination. Rodrigues is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Lupe snaps Rodrigues's head back. Rodrigues stumbles backwards against the cage. Lupe steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Rodrigues's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Rodrigues just didn't come prepared.
