Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Drottinn Hrothgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haiki Masatupo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hrothgar's entrance music is The Howling Fjord. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masatupo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Masatupo showed some decent athleticism there.

No joy there for Hrothgar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Masatupo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Hrothgar's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Drottinn Hrothgar will probably get the nod.

Hrothgar finds Masatupo's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Masatupo flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Hrothgar lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Masatupo will be OK.
