The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Bensmock. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bensmock.
john dives in and grabs Bensmock's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bensmock pushes down on john's head and hops out.
john looks to land a right hand but Bensmock moved out of range.
Horrible takedown by john or perhaps it was just good defense by Bensmock which made him look bad.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bensmock darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bensmock moves away from the strike by john.
Bensmock fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches john on the side of the head.
Bensmock lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Bensmock lands a big head kick that sends john tumbling to the mat! Bensmock takes a step backwards and waves john back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bensmock fails with an attempt to clinch.
john looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bensmock is fending him off so far but john persists. Nope, Bensmock circles away and we're back to standing.
Knocke Bensmock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big john.

He tries to recover but Bensmock pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! john is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
