Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, tbigg red!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jon Silva!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
red tries for a takedown but Silva sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
red fails to land the takedown.
red tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for tbigg red. That's going to take a lot out of him.
red shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Silva sprawls well. Silva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. red gets slowly back to his feet.
red tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Silva dives in and grabs red's left leg, looking for a takedown. red pushes down on Silva's head and hops out.
Silva shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silva showed some decent athleticism there.
Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
red wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva is controlling the pace.
I looks like Silva might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Silva has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Silva breaks from red's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. red can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
red is looking to get to half guard.
red takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
red tries to hold on but Silva pushes him away.
Silva looking to isolate an arm here. red doesn't see it coming and as Silva extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Silva!
