Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hacky Sack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyon Du (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sack kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sweet home alabama. Du comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Du Hast kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Lyon Du has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hacky Sack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lyon Du!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sack stuffs the takedown.
Sack swings for the body but Du moves out of range.
Sack misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Du.
Sack fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Du throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sack's waist but Sack gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Du off to one side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Du looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sack takes a swing at Du's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Du is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sack doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Du.

Du wants to take a breather but Sack is having none of it.
Sack pushes Du off looking to stand but Du dives back in and keeps control.

Du is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hacky Sack dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Sack throws out a loose jab but Du uses good head movement to avoid it.

Du scores with a takedown into Sack's guard.
Du sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sack's guard.
Du wants to take a breather but Sack is having none of it.
Du uses his free foot to push down on Sack's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sack.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Sack tries to reverse the position but Du maintains control.

Du connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Du is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Sack has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Sack!

Du is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Du lands a nice short elbow.

Du tries to move into range but Sack moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Lyon Du comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
