Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akio Kurosaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goguryeo Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kim has chosen Cunninlynguists - Lynguistics as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akio Kurosaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Goguryeo Kim!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurosaki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

That was a close round but I would say that Akio Kurosaki will probably get the nod.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kim. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Kurosaki looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Kim lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Kurosaki sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Goguryeo Kim showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kurosaki crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Kim - the referee stops the clock and Kurosaki gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Kim. Kurosaki manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
