PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tony Lamotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Crowe told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Crowe!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowe lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Tony Lamotta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crowe lands a jab to the nose.
Lamotta ducks under a wild hook from Crowe.
Crowe has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lamotta.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Crowe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lamotta - the referee stops the clock and Crowe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lamotta. Crowe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lamotta. That's going to slow Crowe down.
No joy there for Crowe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Crowe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lamotta.
Crowe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lamotta scores with a head kick.
Crowe lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Lamotta - that will leave a mark!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lamotta lands with a slapping head kick.
Lamotta looks to land a combination. Crowe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A head kick from Lamotta lands but Crowe takes it in his stride.
Lamotta's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lamotta duly obliges.

Crowe is rocked!
Lamotta drops Crowe with a straight right hand, right on the button! Lamotta follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
