The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ness's hands.

Mendez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ness stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mendez is defended easily by Ness.

Mendez closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Ness out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
