The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnquist dodges the punch combination from Kuorma.
Burnquist throws a head kick that misses.
Burnquist displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kuorma throws out the jab.
Burnquist slips a jab from Kuorma.
Burnquist pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Burnquist slaps away a takedown attempt from Kuorma, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Burnquist tries to clinch there but Kuorma circles away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A solid leg kick lands there for Burnquist.
Kuorma looks gassed!
Burnquist feints a jab and as Kuorma dips his head, Burnquist unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Kuorma right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Kuorma falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Burnquist smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
