Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between STEVE ROSE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Swadge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Swadge's choice of entrance music: The adventures of Huckleberry Finn. STEVE ROSE is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swadge lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but ROSE circles away quickly and effectively.
ROSE misses with a takedown attempt - Swadge sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Swadge fails in his attempt to clinch.
Swadge keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Swadge gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Swadge gets control of ROSE's arms and successfully pulls guard. Swadge will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
ROSE pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Swadge is keeping the position for now.

ROSE wants to control but Swadge is keeping him busy.

ROSE closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Swadge did well to prevent ROSE getting side control.

ROSE knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Swadge on the ground.

Swadge is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and ROSE defends well.

Swadge controls ROSE momentarily but ROSE frees himself.
ROSE might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
ROSE wants to control from the top but Swadge keeps moving.
Swadge is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Swadge trying to keep a closed guard but ROSE is proving a slippery customer.
Swadge is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

ROSE is sitting in close to Swadge's body. Swadge has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! ROSE is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, ROSE is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Swadge.
