Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Silent Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Silent Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tito Castro!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro throws a nice outside leg kick.

Castro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bob was covering up waiting for the punch and Castro finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Castro throwing strikes from guard but Bob blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Castro trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Castro looking to sit in guard and control but Bob gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Castro has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Castro wants to hit a switch here but Bob passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Castro there!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bob stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Bob feints and as Castro raises his hands in defense, Bob changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Castro pulls Bob in close to his closed guard and prevents Bob from doing any damage or advancing position.
Castro wants to stand up but Bob is controlling him.
Castro wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Castro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tito Castro will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Castro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Castro lands in his opponent's guard.
Castro throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bob works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bob wants to get back to his feet but Castro is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Castro throws a strike but Bob rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bob would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Castro wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Bob stops Castro from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bob slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Castro.

Bob decides to return to a standing position.
Bob takes one to the chin there.
Castro lands a nice looking kick to the body. Bob takes a step back to recover.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Castro drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bob avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Castro.
Bob is not content to let Castro control the position.
Bob regains half guard, as Castro was trying to land strikes.
Bob keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Castro is looking to stall here but Bob recovers full guard.
Castro scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Castro in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Castro keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bob's head.
Castro throws and elbow that misses. Bob uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Castro's guard. Nice move by Bob!
Castro controls Bob momentarily but Bob frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tito Castro showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Castro scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Castro thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bob's head.
Castro throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Castro scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Castro looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bob with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Castro sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bob defending well though.
Castro with the ground and pound but Bob uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Castro lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Castro postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Castro throws a big right hand that misses.

Castro throws a strike but Bob rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bob won't allow Castro to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Castro looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bob puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Castro is trying to stand back up but Bob is controlling him
Bob wants to stand but Castro has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Castro keeping hold of Bob's head, controlling as best he can.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Castro wants to improve his position but Bob is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Castro wants to control but Bob is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Castro pushes Bob off looking to stand but Bob dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bob moves into side control, avoiding the strikes from Castro.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tito Castro comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Castro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
