Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Javier Cano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goku Gohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Javier Cano is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Cano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Goku Gohan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gohan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck for Gohan with that takedown attempt.
Cano swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cano doesn't manage to clinch there - Gohan circles away.
Gohan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cano.
Gohan moves in looking to clinch but Cano pushes him off.
Gohan fails with a takedown attempt.
Javier Cano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goku Gohan.
Cano throws a nice looking combination but Gohan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cano scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Goku Gohan has been cut.
Cano darts in and clinches Gohan up against the cage.
Gohan wants a takedown.
Cano pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Horrible takedown by Gohan or perhaps it was just good defense by Cano which made him look bad.
Cano throws a right hand that Gohan ducks under and follows up with a left that Gohan also avoids with ease.

Cano tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Gohan counters by clinching up.
Gohan looking to stall.
Cano has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Gohan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cano gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cano tries to break free but Gohan pushes him back against the cage.
Cano makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Cano fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Gohan pulls guard successfully.
Gohan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cano gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cano has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gohan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cano can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Cano closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cano seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Cano knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gohan on the ground.
Gohan is refusing to be controlled, as Cano sits in half guard.
Gohan tries to get to full guard but Cano has control of the leg.

Cano tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Gohan.

Cano thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Cano is keen to just control but Gohan is a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cano closes the distance and clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Goku Gohan's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cano stuffs the takedown.
A telegraphed right hand from Cano misses the target.
Gohan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cano was covering up waiting for the punch and Gohan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cano working a defensive guard but Gohan passes into half guard.
Gohan with the ground and pound but Cano uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Gohan looking to sit in guard and control but Cano gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gohan is working an open guard so Cano takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Gohan shoots and misses
and Cano moves into the clinch.
Cano prevents the takedown attempt.
Javier Cano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Goku Gohan.
Cano looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Cano is looking to break free of the clinch but Gohan has double underhooks.
Gohan wants to stall.
Cano can't break the clinch.
Cano misses with a hook to the ribs.
Gohan has Cano pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cano manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Cano pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cano will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gohan ducks under a wild hook from Cano.
Cano throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Gohan drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cano keeping moving, preventing Gohan from controlling successfully.
Gohan throwing strikes but missing.
Gohan wants to control from the top but Cano keeps moving.
Gohan passes Cano's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Cano is in trouble now - Gohan has advanced to mount!
Gohan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cano is looking to escape.

Cano wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gohan.
Gohan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gohan misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Gohan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Cano is desperately trying to improve his position but Gohan has a good base and remains in mount.

Goku Gohan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's time! Cano's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Cano forces Gohan back against the cage and clinches.
Cano pulls guard successfully.
Cano is trying to control the position but Gohan postures up.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cano is looking to stand up but Gohan won't let him.

Gohan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cano will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cano is posturing up here but Gohan has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Cano tries to roll out but it's too tight and Cano has to tap! Slick submission there by Gohan!
