Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Max Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Ming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Smith had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The key to victory for Max Smith has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Ming.
Smith blocks a head kick by Ming.
Ming scores with a push kick.
Smith fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ming checks it well.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ming.
Smith throws a push kick but Ming slaps the foot to one side.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Ming.
Ming throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Ming moves out of range as Smith throws a body kick.
Smith takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smith throws a head kick but Ming moves out of range.
Smith is breathing heavily.

Ming gets a clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ming creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Max Smith has been cut.

Ming manages to break the clinch.
Ming is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ming throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Smith tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ming feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Smith's calf.
Ming plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
