The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandes scores with the left hand. Blastoma knows he should have avoided that one.
Blastoma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice sprawl there from Fernandes as Blastoma shoots in.
Blastoma shoots for a takedown but Fernandes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fernandes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A big right from Fernandes misses.
Blastoma takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Blastoma shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fernandes as he avoids it easily.
Bryan Fernandes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hemangio Blastoma.
Blastoma takes one on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fernandes lunges at Blastoma with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Blastoma's hand.

Fernandes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blastoma moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fernandes sends Blastoma crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fernandes is motioning to the referee to let Blastoma up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

A combination from Fernandes does no damage.
Blastoma is still on wobbly legs! Can Fernandes finish him?

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Fernandes engages and cracks Blastoma with a massive lead left hook - Blastoma tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Fernandes is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
