Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philean Mincemeat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phyuck Yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yu has chosen Jah Guide as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yu gets a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mincemeat will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Yu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mincemeat tries to avoid it but Yu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mincemeat to the ground. Mincemeat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Yu shoots in looking for a takedown. Mincemeat tries to sprawl out of it but Yu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mincemeat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Yu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
