PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between LeRoy Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Bombadil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bombadil has chosen Climbing Up the Walls as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bombadil fails to land with a series of punches.

Bombadil sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jenkins's guard.

Bombadil is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jenkins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bombadil manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jenkins has Bombadil in his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bombadil accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jenkins is looking to break free of the clinch but Bombadil has double underhooks.
Bombadil tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jenkins's elbow.
Bombadil lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jenkins.
Bombadil tries to land a knee to the head but Jenkins blocks with his arms.

Jenkins tries to score with some ground and pound. Bombadil controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Jenkins has hold of Bombadil's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bombadil tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jenkins cranks the arm and Bombadil screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bombadil, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
