Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rickson feints and as Gaga raises his hands in defense, Rickson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rickson wants to control from the top but Gaga keeps moving.
Rickson drops back looking for a leg! Gaga is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gaga manages to kick Rickson off! Rickson jumps back into Gaga's guard.

Gaga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rickson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rickson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rickson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gaga misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rickson.
Gaga is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rickson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gaga.
Rickson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gaga manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Rickson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gaga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rickson grinds an elbow into Gaga's temple.
Rickson lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Rickson tries to advance to mount but can't.
Rickson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rickson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rickson wants to control but Gaga is keeping him busy.
Rickson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gaga looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rickson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gaga is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rickson lets go of the hold and Gaga can pop his arm back in it's socket.
