Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lionel Steakworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez has chosen T.N.T BY AC/DC as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steakworth lands a jab to Sanchez's midsection.
Sanchez throws a low kick, looking for Steakworth's leg but Steakworth calmly moves out of range.
Sanchez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steakworth throws out the jab.
Sanchez misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Steakworth misses with a wild body shot.
The fighters circling - Sanchez throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sanchez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Steakworth is fending him off so far but Sanchez persists. Nope, Steakworth circles away and we're back to standing.
Sanchez fails with the takedown.
Sanchez takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sanchez looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Steakworth throws a hook but Sanchez avoids it easily.
Sanchez has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sanchez there as he acknowledges the shot.

Steakworth scores with a sloppy right hand. Sanchez should have avoided that one.

Steakworth steps into range and cracks Sanchez with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Sanchez flops backwards and Steakworth dives into his guard looking to finish!

Sanchez is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Steakworth is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanchez can do anything to dispel that myth.

Steakworth trying to control but Sanchez is working from the bottom.
Steakworth trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sanchez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Sanchez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Steakworth gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Steakworth passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Steakworth is working to tighten is grip on Sanchez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sanchez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Steakworth is really squeezing tight and eventually Sanchez passes out! Steakworth breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
