Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lee Mandrake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Tuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Lee Mandrake has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lee Mandrake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pat Tuo!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mandrake tries to close the distance and clinch but Tuo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tuo closes the distance and clinches up with Mandrake, looking for a takedown. Tuo pushes Mandrake against the cage but Mandrake circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tuo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Horrible takedown by Tuo or perhaps it was just good defense by Mandrake which made him look bad.
Tuo keeps the fight on the outside.
Tuo shoots in looking for a takedown. Mandrake tries to sprawl out of it but Tuo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mandrake manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee Mandrake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pat Tuo.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mandrake.

Tuo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mandrake napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Tuo has an Americana. Mandrake didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tuo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tuo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Pat Tuo!
