Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Chua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendon Martindale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martindale has chosen Who Am I as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Shogun Chua has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shogun Chua seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chua fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
No luck for Chua with that takedown attempt.
Nice takedown defense from Martindale. No joy for Chua on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shogun Chua. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chua shoots for a double leg takedown but Martindale sprawls well. He's pushed Chua's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Martindale feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chua is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Martindale wants to control but Chua is keeping busy.

Martindale has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Chua should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Martindale has tightened it up now! Chua should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
