And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonny Bush!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castellaneta wants to clinch.

Castellaneta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Bush has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Castellaneta can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Castellaneta drops back looking for a leg! Bush is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bush manages to kick Castellaneta off! Castellaneta jumps back into Bush's guard.
Bush wants to sweep but no luck.
Castellaneta trying to control the position from guard on top but Bush is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bush is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bush thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Castellaneta's head.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Castellaneta swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
