Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Willy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Odin Wotan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wotan has chosen Pastor Troy- I Want War as his entrance music. Odin Wotan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wotan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Odin Wotan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wotan keeps the fight on the outside.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wotan. Nelson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wotan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nelson tries to clinch there but Wotan circles away.
Wotan lands a jab.
Wotan looks to land a left hand but Nelson moved out of range nicely.
Wotan connects with the punch.
Nelson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wotan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nelson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wotan is fending him off so far but Nelson persists. Nope, Wotan circles away and we're back to standing.
Nelson tries to clinch up.
Nelson moves into the clinch.
Nelson is trying to break the clinch but Wotan has him pressed against the ropes.
Wotan stops a takedown attempt from Nelson.
Nelson jumps into guard, dragging Wotan to the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nelson has a closed guard, preventing Wotan from standing up.
Wotan gets to his feet - Nelson follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wotan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wotan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nelson rather than just go for the knockout.
Nelson tries to clinch there but Wotan circles away.
Wotan misses with a wild body shot.
Wotan moves out of range of the body kick from Nelson.
Nelson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nelson wants to clinch.
Wotan catches Nelson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Nelson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wotan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willy Nelson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wotan thuds a left hand into Nelson's body.
Wotan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wotan connects with a body shot.
Nelson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wotan lands a nice hook to Nelson's body. Nelson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Wotan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wotan stuffs the takedown attempt from Nelson. Nelson gets slowly back to his feet.
Nelson is breathing heavily.

Wotan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nelson's head backwards.
Wotan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wotan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wotan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nelson manages to avoid it.
Nelson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Wotan finds it's way round the side to connect with Nelson's head.
Wotan lands a slapping body shot.
Nelson tries to clinch there but Wotan circles away.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wotan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Wotan is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nelson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Wotan misses with a body shot.
Wotan fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wotan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nelson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wotan lands with a straight right. Nelson didn't see that one coming.
Wotan takes a swing at Nelson's ribcage but misses.
Nice body punch from Wotan.
Wotan connects with a body shot.

Nelson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wotan lands an overhand right.
Nelson is rocked!
Nelson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oh Nelson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wotan lands a nice hook to Nelson's body. Nelson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Wotan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Wotan paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nelson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Wotan cracks Nelson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Nelson falls backwards against the ropes. Wotan follows up with more strikes that drop Nelson to his knees. Wotan keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Nelson! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Odin Wotan!
