The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wollsey throws a looping overhand right but Paiva ducks down to avoid it.
No joy there for Wollsey, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Paiva. Wollsey does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wollsey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Paiva moves away.
Paiva misses with a looping left.
Paiva fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wollsey looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Paiva throws a body punch but Wollsey moves out of range.
Wollsey missing with a left hand there. Paiva was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Paiva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wollsey throws out the jab.
Mordecai Wollsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wollsey throws a sloppy body shot
and Paiva counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Wollsey needs to keep his hands up - Paiva had a free shot at his head there.
Paiva avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Paiva misses with a two punch combination.
Wollsey takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Mordecai Wollsey has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Paiva throws a shot to the body.
Wollsey is breathing heavily.

Paiva cracks Wollsey with a big right hand and Wollsey goes down!

Wollsey is rocked!
Paiva passes into half guard.
Oh Wollsey is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Paiva is trying for a kimura here. Wollsey looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Paiva wins by kimura!
