Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cody Marks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kavon Lovve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kavon Lovve!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marks moves into the clinch.
Lovve jumps guard but Marks stands there with Lovve around his waist. Lovve gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lovve tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marks smiles and moves away.
Marks moves in looking to clinch but Lovve pushes him off.

Lovve shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lovve won't allow Marks to sweep him here.
Marks keeping full guard, as Lovve tries to pass.
Marks wants to stand up but Lovve is controlling him.
Lovve is working Marks over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Lovve stopping the sweep attempt from Marks.
Lovve passes Marks's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marks makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Marks.
Marks tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Marks not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Marks is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lovve is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Lovve in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Lovve is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Lovve working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lovve throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Marks with a lazy takedown attempt

and Lovve counters with a nice double leg into side control. Marks won't be happy with that.

Lovve looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Marks holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Marks is not content to let Lovve control the position.
Lovve lands a few punches from side control.
Marks prevents Lovve from improving position.
Marks tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Lovve easily slips into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marks is trying desperately to improve position.

Lovve throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Marks has his hands clasped together but Lovve breaks the hold and Marks is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Lovve!
