Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Serptentino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santiago Huerta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huerta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pass Out kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jorge Serptentino could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Santiago Huerta's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jorge Serptentino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santiago Huerta!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Serptentino.
Serptentino circles away from the clinch attempt.
Serptentino shoots in and bounces Huerta off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Serptentino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Serptentino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Huerta wants to sweep but no luck.
Serptentino stops Huerta from standing up.
Huerta really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Serptentino. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Huerta can't keep his opponent in guard - Serptentino advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Huerta wants to get back to his feet.
Serptentino working over Huerta with some ground and pound. Huerta looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Serptentino is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Huerta doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Serptentino.
Serptentino is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Huerta wants to control the action here but instead Serptentino manages to pass to full mount!
Serptentino is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Huerta is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Huerta flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Serptentino anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Huerta and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Serptentino slips an arm under Huerta chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Serptentino has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Serptentino is squeezing on Huerta like an anaconda would it's prey. Huerta fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jorge Serptentino!
