Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nolan Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yan Ti San (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett comes to the cage accompanied by Bad To the Bone. The crowd seem to be enjoying San's choice of entrance music: Brainfreeze (part 1) - DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nolan Sackett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yan Ti San!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
San pushes Sackett away with a front kick.
Sackett throws the kick towards the body but San avoids it.
San connects with a solid leg kick.
San throws a head kick that half lands.
Sackett throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. San was covering up waiting for the punch and Sackett finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sackett works over San with some ground and pound from guard.
Sackett stops San from standing up.
Sackett wants to control from the top but San keeps moving.
Sackett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. San swivels though and keeps the full guard.
San working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sackett.
Sackett trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sackett postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Sackett working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sackett closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. San did well to prevent Sackett getting side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
San blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sackett.
Sackett is pressing down on San's thigh, looking to free his foot. San is holding on for now.

Sackett is keen to just control but San is a slippery customer.
San pushes Sackett off but Sackett dives into side control.
San tries to escape but Sackett is in control.
Sackett advances to full mount.
San is trying to stand up.
Sackett punching from mount but San doing a good job of avoiding damage.
San really wants to buck Sackett off and get back to his feet.
Sackett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sackett landing strikes, looking to finish!
Sackett looking to control but San is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Sackett has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of San's face.
Sackett lands a big elbow.
Sackett postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. San looks a forlorn figure.
San is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sackett cracks San with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
