The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy fails with the takedown.
Hayes throws a right hand that Boy ducks under and follows up with a left that Boy also avoids with ease.
Hayes lands an overhand right.
No luck for Boy with that takedown attempt.
Tony Boy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Hayes as Boy shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Boy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hayes misses with a double jab.
Hayes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hayes jabs Boy right on the nose. Boy blinks but takes it well.
Boy is breathing heavily.
Boy misses with a takedown attempt - Hayes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hayes connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Boy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Boy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hayes sprawls well. Hayes wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boy gets slowly back to his feet.
Hayes lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hayes.
Boy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Hayes steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Boy is out on his feet! Hayes sets himself and nearly takes Boy's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
