Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Estripador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Gabriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Get Out Of My Room kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Estripador!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Gabriel!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabriel shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Estripador napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Gabriel stands up and beckons Estripador to his feet.
Estripador tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Estripador takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gabriel fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Estripador tries to clinch but Gabriel is having none of it.

Estripador cracks Gabriel with an uppercut from hell and Gabriel crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Estripador's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
It looks like Justin Gabriel has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gabriel pulls Estripador in close to his closed guard and prevents Estripador from doing any damage or advancing position.

Gabriel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Estripador pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gabriel is keeping the position for now.
Estripador drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gabriel manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Estripador has Gabriel in his guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Estripador is looking for a triangle here but Gabriel uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Gabriel trying to control the action but Estripador is working from the bottom.

Estripador manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Estripador is staying active underneath Gabriel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Estripador is trying to get back to full guard.
Gabriel stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Estripador wants to clinch up but Gabriel keeps it at a distance.
Estripador tries to close the distance and clinch but Gabriel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gabriel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Estripador connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Gabriel tumbling to the canvas! Estripador pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Gabriel was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jack Estripador!
