Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cadogen Gruffudd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimi Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendrix is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Machine Gun. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hendrix shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gruffudd's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Gruffudd is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hendrix is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Hendrix has hold of Gruffudd's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gruffudd manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hendrix moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gruffudd has worked his arm free - good work by Gruffudd!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hendrix is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gruffudd knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hendrix is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
