Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyoto Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox comes to the cage accompanied by Cant Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr.. Machida has chosen For Whom The Bell Tolls as his entrance music. Brian Fox has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida moves away from the strike by Fox.
Fox fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Fox throws a right and a left that Machida avoids nicely.
A head kick misses from Machida.
Fox steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Machida.
Fox chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Machida can pounce on him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Machida avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fox avoids the head kick by Machida.

Fox misses with a few strikes there.
A left and a right from Machida both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Brian Fox has been cut.
Machida uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fox.
Machida throws a sloppy head kick and Fox moves out of range easily.
Fox walks into a straight right hand from Machida.
Fox throws an overhand right that lands on Machida's shoulder, as Machida tries to avoid the shot.

Fox blocks a head kick by Machida.
Fox misses with a combination
and Machida counters with an outside leg kick.

Fox throws a combination that misses
and Machida counters with a leg kick.
Machida throws a head kick but Fox moves out of range.
Machida uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fox.
Fox misses with a wild combination.
Machida throws a push kick but Fox slaps the foot to one side.

Machida checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Machida tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fox checks the leg kick nicely there.
Machida lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fox circles away quickly and effectively.
Machida throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lyoto Machida dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Brian Fox's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Machida throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fox throws a combination that misses
and Machida counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fox's knee momentarily.
Machida motions for Fox to come forward. Machida throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Fox throws a leg kick
and Machida counters with a head kick. That will keep Fox thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Machida cracks Fox with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Fox looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Machida finish him?
Fox is rocked!
Brian Fox's cut is getting worse.
Fox getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Fox swings away with a body shot that misses
and Machida counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Machida lands a big head kick that sends Fox to the canvas! Machida follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
