The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy shoots in and drives through. Sherk sprawls well.
Murphy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Murphy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sherk's waist but Sherk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Murphy off to one side.
Shane Sherk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Murphy.
Murphy fails with a takedown attempt.

Sherk shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sherk was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sherk has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Murphy's face.
