Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Knocko Blocko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Overmars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overmars comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Union Underground - Across The Nation kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Overmars has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blocko finds it's way round the side to connect with Overmars's head.

It looks like Michel Overmars has been cut.
Blocko ducks right into an uppercut from Overmars.

Overmars fails to land with a series of punches.
Blocko blocks a head kick by Overmars.
Overmars tries to close the distance and clinch but Blocko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Overmars missing with a left hand there. Blocko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Blocko misses with a hook.
Blocko uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Overmars.
Overmars connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Overmars. Blocko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Overmars throws a front kick aimed at Blocko's knee but Blocko avoids it well.

Overmars fails with an attempt to clinch.
Overmars shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Blocko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
