The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiegel tries to bum rush Buck Jr with a series of wild strikes but Buck Jr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Spiegel tries to sprawl but Buck Jr drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Buck Jr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Spiegel is just riding it out for now. Buck Jr eventually gives up the hold.
Spiegel is looking to improve his position.
Buck Jr thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Buck Jr isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Spiegel stacks Buck Jr on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Spiegel!
Spiegel is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Buck Jr's shoulder. That is not cool.

Buck Jr got a little sloppy there for a moment and Spiegel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Buck Jr has managed to get both his arms back between Spiegel's legs - danger averted.

Buck Jr drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Buck Jr seems to have locked his on tight now - Spiegel screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Buck Jr, as he picks up the win!
