Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chuey Chuleta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Escobedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuleta comes into the arena with CHINGO BLING - PUT MY SWAG ON REMIX blaring out of the sound system. Escobedo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: TURN MY SWAG ON. Chuey Chuleta is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chuleta tests Escobedo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Chuleta has managed to clinch.
Escobedo missing with knees to the body.
Escobedo putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Chuleta in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Chuleta has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Escobedo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Chuleta punches the canvas rather than the man.

Chuleta lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Escobedo.
Chuleta scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
It looks like David Escobedo has been cut.
Escobedo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Escobedo is in a horrible position here. Chuleta smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chuleta landing strikes from the mount and Escobedo is in trouble!
Chuleta is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Escobedo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Escobedo!
Chuleta has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Escobedo won't allow Chuleta to sweep him here.
Escobedo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Chuleta has his foot on Escobedo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Escobedo works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Escobedo trying to control but Chuleta is working from the bottom.
Chuleta is pulling down on Escobedo's head. It's preventing any offense from Escobedo, at least for the moment.
Escobedo won't allow Chuleta to get back to his feet.

Escobedo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Chuleta drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Chuleta lands a few punches from side control.
That has opened up David Escobedo's cut even more.
Chuleta tries for a kimura but Escobedo is defending well.
Chuleta lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Chuleta goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Escobedo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Chuleta's guard! Nice work there by Escobedo!
Chuleta is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Escobedo's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Chuleta uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Chuleta shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Chuleta was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Chuleta lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Escobedo hang on?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chuleta moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Escobedo has worked his arm free - good work by Escobedo!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Escobedo manages to work his way to half guard, despite Chuleta's best efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuey Chuleta dominated that round.
The cut man is working on David Escobedo's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Chuleta swats away the attempt to clinch by Escobedo.
Escobedo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chuleta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chuleta clinches.
Escobedo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Chuleta is defending well for now.
Chuleta goes for a takedown attempt but Escobedo pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Chuleta counters with a single leg into guard. Escobedo didn't expect that.

Chuleta chips away with some ground and pound.
The cut above David Escobedo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Escobedo trying to keep a closed guard but Chuleta is proving a slippery customer.
Chuleta distracts Escobedo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
David Escobedo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at David Escobedo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
