Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Chambers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Hanks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Hanks with that takedown attempt.

Hanks closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Chambers wants to get back to his feet.
Hanks tries to move to mount but Chambers blocks the move with his legs.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chambers clobbers Hanks with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Chambers clinches up with Hanks and pushes him back against the cage.

Chambers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hanks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Chambers breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hanks shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chambers as he avoids it easily.
Hanks has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
Chambers lands a really nice looking cross but Hanks seems unphased.

Chambers's corner calls for a 1-2. Chambers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Chambers paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hanks fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Chambers getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Chambers throws a good cross that connects.

Hanks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hanks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Chambers pushes Hanks off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Chambers drives through and clinches with Hanks against the cage.

Chambers manages to pull guard.
Hanks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chambers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chambers wants to get back to his feet but Hanks is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Hanks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hanks is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Chambers is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Hanks drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hanks as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Chambers screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hanks! Nice submission victory there!
