Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoki Akumo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Tuason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tuason has chosen Let the bodies hit the floor as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuason bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Akumo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tuason wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Akumo regains half guard, as Tuason was trying to land strikes.
Akumo is trying to get back to full guard.
Tuason is pressing down on Akumo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Akumo is holding on for now.
Tuason passes to side control.

Akumo is trying to buck Tuason off.
Akumo is not content to let Tuason control the position.
Akumo parries the strikes from Tuason easily there. Tuason is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Akumo to escape.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Akumo is looking to reverse the position.
Tuason tries to stand but Akumo is controlling his head.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tuason drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Akumo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
